January 2023

Thank you. Wow, that’s all we can say. What an amazing 2022!

We’re so excited to see what 2023 holds for Do Good! But we won’t let our excitement overshadow the absolutely amazing accomplishments of 2022. Here are a few highlights:

* Over $110k raised to support local families (nearly double 2021!)

* 4 featured families and 100+ individuals impacted

* 42% year over year website traffic growth which helps spread goodness

* 4 Major Events and 30+ Small Events

*Launched monthly workshops for kids

*Launched free room rentals in our space at the MAC

So again, thank you! Thank you to our corporate sponsors, the foundations that provided grants, the dozens of volunteers, and the countless supporters that helped grow Do Good in 2022!

We have big goals for 2023, including doubling donations, corporate partnerships, and grants. Additionally, we’re formalizing our board and volunteers. We’re currently looking for several volunteers: a Board Treasurer, a Board Secretary, a Volunteer Director, and a Grant Writer. If you are interested or know anyone that might be interested, please have them reach out to volunteers@dogoodmission.com.

January is also Mr. Do Good (Will’s) birthday month and we decided to hold a first ever Do Good Auction and it was a HUGE success!

Will hosted his very own Birthday Live Auction Benefit and it was such a great time and a HUGE success! In just an hour we raised close to $4,000 for Do Good this is big, this covers almost a full year of rent for our studio, which means we can take a weight off our shoulders and focus 100% on helping local families.

This night wouldn't of been possible without our incredible friends and family, we are so blessed with an amazing support system and Do Good wouldn't exist without EVERY one of them!

I also want to give a shoutout to our hilarious auctioneer JR Vearil, he made the night fun, entertaining, and got everyone to raise those paddles up just one more time

And lastly I want to say thank you to my thoughtful, amazing husband William Stevenson. It was his birthday and he found this amazing venue The 1859 and an amazing cater All the Ingredients by Leah Moss, rounded up 23 auction items, and organized the whole event....all within a 2 week time frame! Did I say it was HIS birthday I felt like this was a birthday present to me....but that's just the kind of guy he is. On the one day that is supposed to be about him, all he could think about is what he could do for everyone else. I am one lucky lady. Happy Birthday Mr. Do Good, you sure make doing good look good!

We started January off with a Grant from The Loveland Legacy to help keep our workshops for kids free of charge! We are so thankful for their generosity and the wonderful things they are doing for the community!

We also started sharing about our first 2023 family, The Alexanders. Nikki is a wonderful mother to 5 young boys, wife to her highschool sweetheart, and owner of our favorite local bakery Sweet Joy. This past winter she was diagnosed with Stage 3, Grade 3B Follicular Lymphoma. She is undergoing 6 rounds of chemotherapy. You can read more about their story and how to help here.
