April 2024- Elena
At just 13, Elena woke up one morning unable to move—a terrifying start to her journey with a rare condition called Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM). Facing challenges that would test anyone’s spirit, Elena has shown incredible strength and wisdom beyond her years. January 2024- Henry
Meet Henry, a brave 10-year-old from Little Miami who has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His journey began with what seemed like typical leg pain, but it quickly escalated into a serious illness requiring intense medical care. Henry has already undergone three rounds of chemotherapy, with several more to go.
November 2024- Gianna
Meet Gigi, a brave 16-year-old battling a rare and challenging diagnosis of Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, with malignant tumors affecting her pancreas, liver, and lymph nodes. Despite enduring severe health challenges, Gigi remains resilient, supported by her dedicated mother, Becky, and their loving community. September 2024- LJ Rineair
LJ's journey has been one of resilience and triumph. Diagnosed with a softball-sized brain tumor, he underwent two surgeries and faced life-threatening moments with unwavering courage. Throughout his treatment, the community rallied around him, with Do Good raising over $5,000 for his family. Today, LJ stands victorious as his latest scans show no evidence of the tumor, and he continues to thrive, embodying strength and hope for us all. 💙🌟 #LJStrong
August 2023- The Campbell Family
Reflecting on our incredible journey with the Campbell family, we've witnessed a story of strength, resilience, and unwavering love. Ali, a wife and mother of three, faced the harrowing challenge of stage 4 breast cancer with a grace that left us inspired.
April 2023- Caylee Mastin
Caylee was a 15 year old girl with her whole life ahead of her but for reason’s no one will ever be able to comprehend she felt she had no other choice. She left behind her mother, Julie and brother Camden. Her family will never be the same and quite frankly all of us that knew Caylee won’t either.
January 2023- The Alexander Family
Meet The Alexander Family! Nikki is a mother to 5 young boys and co-owner with her husband Brandon to our favorite bakery, Sweet Joy. Last winter she got news no mother wants to hear….you have cancer.
October 2022- The Discepoli Family
Meet The Discepoli Family! Luca has been a fighter since the day he was born. He spent almost a full year admitted to Cincinnati Children’s, right before he was going to be finally discharged his mother had a terrible accident.
August 2022 Story - Lucas Cirivello
Meet Lucas and his amazing friends who saved his life! After a freak accident at a birthday party, Lucas was left with his dreams of playing football coming to an end.
June 2022 Story - The Wells Family
Meet the Wells Family! They moved to Cincinnati from California to be closer to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Their son Jaxson was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Children’s is #1 for CP treatment.
March 2022 Story - The Wiley Family
Meet the Wiley family. January 2022 they had two smiling girls, life was good and they were happy. They never expected that in just a few days BOTH daughters would be fighting for their lives.

July 2021 Story - The Robbins Family
This is the Robbins family. Their youngest son Oliver was dianosed with Leukemia. However we wanted to tell a story about his older brother Marley.
Marley’s story was one that was often untold. No one seems to talk about the siblings of cancer patients. They often get overlooked. We wanted other kids in Marley’s situation to know they aren’t alone.
April 2021 Story - Lennox & The Curtis Family
Everyone meet Lennox, at 2 weeks of age, tests came back conclusive for neuroblastoma. A rare form of cancer on the adrenal glands.
At just a few weeks of age Lennox had a bone marrow aspiration, biopsy of the tumor and placement of a central line. They found his tumor was bigger than they expected and Lennox would have to undergo chemotherapy to shrink the tumor.
He had two rounds of chemotherapy. Lennox tolerated it well and his tumor has begun to shrink! He will follow up with his oncologist every month to monitor any growth. They are confident the tumor will continue to shrink on its own.
We were so happy to get to know Lennox and his amazing family and help share their story.
