February 2021 Story - Hailey & The Schnetzer Family

Meet Hailey. She’s an amazing, positive 13 year old living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat, and digestive juices. The fluids become thick and sticky which then can cause difficulty with breathing and digestion. There is currently no cure for CF. Hailey spends a few hours every day treating the disease.

That said, Hailey is overwhelmingly positive. She lights up the room when she walks in. She enjoys cheerleading, hiking, camping, and all the normal activities that a 13 year old girl should!

On top of her already busy schedule, Hailey takes time to participate in CF research studies and also helps raise money through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is passionate about spreading awareness and is a hero to future generations.

We are so happy to bring a little light to Hailey as well as help her share her story.
