November 2022
On November 12th we held our first ever Do Good Chocolate Walk. It was a last minute idea and quite frankly I wasn’t sure If I would be able to pull it off in such a short time. But the Loveland community didn’t hesitate to step up and help The Discepoli family and even though it was a freezing cold day, people came and walked and we raised over $1500 for the family!
The morning of November 12th I woke up and Anna said ”mom it’s snowing out and cold, I wonder if anyone will even show?”
I had a minute where I was sad that the weather wasn’t great but then I thought about why we are doing the Chocolate Walk and that’s for The Discepoli Family. Luca was isolated in the hospital for 11 months. For 11 months he never got to experience the cold weather on his face or the beauty of snow and so I decided that I am going to make the best of this day and dance in the snow and talk to everyone who passes by and sell out of all 100 tickets!
I also decided that if you tell me you came to prove Anna wrong we will do a BOGO sale! Buy a ticket for $15 and get the second ticket free!!

It’s amazing how God can place people in your life at the right time.
Normally at Thanksgiving we have all the time to pack and deliver meals all over town but this year we were smack in the middle of moving into our new home. I wasn’t sure how I was going to make everything happen but I made the post anyways and 11 families signed up for a Thanksgiving meal.
I was about to make a post asking for donations of frozen turkeys and all the favorite thanksgiving sides when I got a message asking me how many families we had and if they could supply the meals AND deliver for us…. this is our 3rd year doing meals and this has never happened. It was like God saying “I got you.” He knew closing on our house the week of Thanksgiving with 3 small kids was enough to handle.
He also brought 4 ladies to the Do Good team a few weeks back and they have been amazing! I still had a few families left that needed a precooked meal and had to find time to deliver but they stepped up and made sure those families got their Thanksgiving Feast
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that these ladies were here at this time to help Do Good. I wouldn’t of made it through this week without them. So thank you ladies I am so grateful this Thanksgiving for you!
From my family to yours, we hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving with family and friends and would love to hear what you are grateful for this holiday season
