August 2022

We have been waiting all year for August! Party @ The MAC is a huge event for us and a way for us to say thank you to all our supporters! We spent months getting everything ready for the big day! Thanks to Cincinnati Kitchens we were able to land Eddie Island from American Idol to perform a free concert. We also had bouncy houses thanks to The Bounce House Heroes, Pony Rides thanks to Little Patch of Heaven, a Beer Garden thanks to Moores Construction, DJ Charlie was back to keep the party going thanks to Alicia Beaver, EXP Realty, Blow up games thanks to TZ Containers, and face painting thanks to SOZO Loveland Church!

We also had our favorite Beer Truck there, Tap Truck Cincinnati, Snowy Shaved Ice, Folks N Motion, and Krimmer’s Italianette Food Truck. Evo Fit had a pull up contest in the gym and we couldn’t be prouder of our daughter Addy crushing the kid event with 16! 

Everything fell into place and we couldn’t wait….except mother nature had other plans. It rained and rained and rained. The bouncy slide became a water slide, the beer garden became a soak garden, the concert got cut short, BUT the kids were smiling and laughing. Families still made the most of it and we all had a great time! Eddie was able to perform towards the end when the skies opened up for a bit and he sounded amazing! We are hoping for better weather next year! 

We also introduced our newest Do Good family, Lucas Cirivello. While at a birthday party he was struck by a tree causing a small brain bleed, broken neck, and fractured nose. You can read more about his story here. 

We were exhausted after August and looked forward to a calm September before the craziness of the holidays.
