September 2022

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and us here at Do Good have a special place in our hearts for 3 amazingly strong, brave kids

Hannah Grace took on kidney cancer TWICE in just 2 years! She continues to remind everyone of what it means to be brave, strong, & courageous. She has remained in remission the past 2 years now and has started Kindergarten!

Lennox at 2 weeks old began his fight with neuroblastoma, a rare cancer of the adrenal glands. He underwent chemotherapy and has now been in remission the last 2 years. He is thriving as a toddler and will continue to have checkups with his oncologist every 2 months.

Oliver was diagnosed with Leukemia in the fall of 2020. He spent several months in the hospital undergoing treatment. He was so incredibly strong and brave. He fought the best he could but sadly passed away in October of 2021.

One thing that brought Oliver happiness was his toy collection. He loved collecting all sorts of classic toys, horror characters, & action figures. After his passing his parents decided to open a toy chest in honor of their son. Oliver’s Toy Chest was created and you can find their store in Hamilton, Ohio.

We decided to join forces with them this month and collect toys & games for children undergoing cancer treatments at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We were able to drop off boxes and boxes full of toys and it is something we look forward to doing year after year.

We also held a fundraiser for Lucas at the Blanchester Skyline, the kids did an amazing job serving everyone and we raised a little over $500! We also had our workshop where we made no sew blankets for local homeless shelters!
