Summer 2023 Highlights-A Season of Compassion and Community at Do Good

As the sun beamed down, casting its warm glow on Summer 2023, Do Good continued its mission of spreading love and making a positive impact. Among the many highlights, we welcomed a new Do Good Family, the Campbells, a courageous mother of three battling stage 4 breast cancer. Their story became an integral part of our extended community, reinforcing the strength that emanates from unity.

The summer festivities kicked off Dodge For Good. Sportsmanship and camaraderie took center stage at our second annual dodgeball tournament, where The Daddy Dodgers emerged victorious, reclaiming their well-deserved first-place title. The event was a testament to the power of friendly competition and community spirit.

The sweet taste of summer continued with our Do Good Lemonade Stand at the Morrow Market, spreading refreshing kindness in every cup. We joined the Hamilton Township 4th of July parade, proudly showcasing our dedication to community involvement.

Our commitment to storytelling continued with the release of more podcasts, featuring past families and a special Father's Day episode. These conversations offered a platform for shared experiences and inspiration.

True to the Do Good spirit, we supported two enthusiastic Do Good kiddos in their Lego Drive for Children's Hospital, demonstrating the ripple effect of kindness initiated by our young ambassadors. They donated more than 100 sets of Legos!

Our influence extended beyond events as we were honored to be guest speakers at S.E.L.F. Camp—a camp empowering young girls. Here, we emphasized the significance of doing good and spreading kindness, planting seeds of compassion in the hearts of the next generation.

In a poignant moment of remembrance, we participated in Drive Hope, a Cruise-In for Suicide Prevention, honoring Caylee and promoting mental health awareness.

We ended summer with a spectacular free family event, Party at The MAC, generously sponsored by Cincinnati Kitchens. Eddie Island graced us with an epic concert, while the Morrow Arts Center parking lot transformed into a wonderland of joy with bouncy houses, games, pony rides, and face painting—all made possible by sponsors like Mr. Electric, SOZO Loveland Church, and Little Patch of Heaven, ensuring that families enjoyed these activities free of charge.

As we basked in the warmth of Summer 2023, these highlights exemplified the ongoing commitment of Do Good to create a community where kindness knows no bounds. The stories shared, events hosted, and partnerships formed solidify our belief in the transformative power of collective goodness. Here's to a summer filled with warmth, compassion, and the continued journey of doing good together. ☀️💙
